As Supply Chain Manager you will architect and grow that chain across the Netherlands, Germany, and France. From scouting and selecting top tier installation partners to consolidating price & product data in one central company wide database, you make sure every project starts with the right talent, the right capacity, and the right information at our fingertips.
Collaborating at Maasdam
Based at our Waddinxveen headquarters, you’ll join the Commerce & Non Operations team and work shoulder to shoulder with the Business Unit Manager Commerce, Estimators, Project Managers, Engineers and Legal Counsel.
Your shared mission is to build a best in class partner ecosystem. You will actively expand our network of specialist subcontractors (mechanical, electrical and CSA installers) across NL, DE and FR, and migrate scattered pricing, product data and annual agreements from individual inboxes into one central company wide database where everyone can find and use them.
Together you convert individual know how into category playbooks and centrally accessible best practices, negotiate framework agreements that balance competitiveness with long term partnership, enable remote IT and quality support so suppliers can collaborate seamlessly, and keep a close eye on performance metrics and compliance (including KYC) to drive continuous improvement.
We think this profile is a good fit
Part of our approach is that we prefer not to think in strict categories. We like to keep your profile as open as possible. Our best estimate is that you will need the following:
- 5+ years of strategic procurement or supply chain experience in construction, fit out, or
- Strong negotiation and relational skills and the ability to draft overarching framework agreements with legal support.
- Ability to build and nurture a pan European partner network that supports our sites in NL, DE and FR — top installation crews may travel from Poland and neighbouring countries, while we also cultivate strong local teams whenever possible
- Willingness to travel ca 10% of your time to suppliers and project sites in NL, DE, and FR.
- Have a good command of English. German, Polish, French or Dutch are a plus, but not required.
